Pinky Jackson Professional Organizing Response to Pandemic

We are committed to doing our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and take care of our clients and team. At this time, we are able to do that while proceeding with business as usual. However, there are policies and services we are changing as well as reinforcing. These steps will allow your organizing projects to begin, continue, and/or pause as appropriate. We will continue to monitor the situation and make changes as needed that are in the best interests of our community, clients, and team.

Since we do not work in large groups and we follow best practices for health and safety, our organizing jobs can continue onsite. We are here to help those who are on a timeline to downsize, make room for baby, get your office set up, or simply use unexpected time at home to relieve stress by getting your space organized. 

A decluttered space is much easier to clean and sanitize. We want to empower everyone to take the steps necessary to organize and care for themselves, their families, and their physical environment. In addition to our onsite organizing services where we do it all for you or with you, we have a number of services that can be provided remotely. Those services are listed below and can be scheduled via pinkyjackson.com.

Along with both onsite and remote organizing, we are revising and reinforcing existing policies and services, including:

  1. We are accommodating all team and client requests for days off or rescheduling and encouraging anyone with symptoms to do so.

  2. We are increasing handwashing, glove wearing, and surface cleaning. 

  3. We are using social distancing onsite and offsite.

  4. We are avoiding large groups.

  5. We are paying even closer attention to diet, hydration, exercise and rest, and encouraging our clients to do the same.

  6. We have not organized large events since October 2019 and are not scheduling such events for the time being.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZING WHILE YOU ARE AWAY
We often organize homes when the client is away. Clients may choose to do a virtual consultation or to have a (socially distant) walk-through with us. 

We will then create an action plan and check in with you as needed to keep your project moving even though you are offsite for some or all of the time.

ORGANIZING SESSIONS BY VIDEO
We can guide you (or your staff or family members) through a productive organizing session using a video app. Preliminary research on your project, review of your pictures and a follow-up after our session are included.

ORGANIZING BY PHONE & EMAIL
General organizing or productivity advice is available via phone consultations and email dialogue. Preliminary research on your inquiries, review of your pictures, and email follow-up after our call is included.

DIY PLANS
Our Do It Yourself plan is for clients who wish to have a professional organizer help them get started decluttering, organizing, and/or styling. We will conduct a thorough consultation via phone or email with the use of photographs you furnish and provide you with a customized action plan

PICK UP SERVICE
We are temporarily adding front porch pick up service for Louisville area clients who need a local professional to ensure that the items they are decluttering while working in isolation at home are delivered to the appropriate place. 

Although a much wider range of items are removed as part of our premium organizing packages, here is a list of items we will pick up as part of this interim service:

  • charitable donations

  • consignments

  • shredding

  • paper & cardboard recycling

  • items to deliver or ship to friends/family
